Word around town that your girl likes to cook. As ridiculous as it may sound, every time I look a this piece, I think of that song by the Based God. The Based God? I realize that Lil B is not quite Jay Z, but in my world, he is something of an icon. He is iconic bad rapping, of irony, of California (he's just a California boy), but most of all, of his cooking dance. I don't know exactly when he invented it, but it may have been with the song I Cook. Despite every klub kid and his kousin saying that they like trap (whatever that genre even is — I've lost track) few know about this dance. I get a lot of weird looks. Anyway, there is one move that involves a position kind of like the one you see here. You twist your wrists and bounce them in there. I don't know, you'd have to see someone do it.
Is Natasha Poly the Based Goddess? I don't think so, but if anyone could rep a snap back, it's her. The original in a pen & ink drawing on 5.5"x8.5" paper, but it can be done as a print or a painting. Completed July 7, 2012.
