Something Soft

An unfinished study of cloth. I did this in my first year of architecture school, while I had the flu. My professor recommended that students rumple their cloths, because it would be easier to draw. I may have gone a little overboard, and lost 5% of my grade as a result. My professor did find it funny, however, that I gave it a label that said "Rumpled Cloth — School of Giotto, ca. 1320?"

It dates from late September, early October of 2010. The drawing is graphite on 12"x16" paper, and it is very badly faded. Still OK, though.

Not for sale.
